Qincqi Rikshaw

"Qingqi Rikshaw"

The two wheel and 3 three wheel transportation are commonly used for traveling in all over Pakistan that is in some cases, so dangerous because of its three wheeled driving. Rickshaw & Motorbikes used to consider unsafe for traveling and most of the parents use to allow their children to travel in buses instead of motorbikes. But the invention of Rikhaws that include rikshaw+Bike, most commonly known as Qingqi or chinchi, these rickshaws are very prominent only because of its attached motorcycle.  They have troubled the life of people and even the flow of traffic. Every single day you heard about a road accident by Qingqis but not the people left traveling in these Qingqi nor the driver because they earn reasonable amount in a short period. And the passengers have to pay minimum amount to reach their destination. They are mostly used for short distance driving and they normally charge Rs10 per passengers which most traveler consider reasonable. Karachi is full with beautiful buses and Rickshaws. These transporting means lighten up the colors of the city’s charm. These all are considered as a main traditional part of Karachi.
Drivers usually overload their Qingqi rickshaw with 12 to 14 passengers. When Qingqi overloads to the end it can let you to the road directly. Overload Qingqi Rickshaw is really a big cause of accidents. Drivers imagine as if they are running an aero plane they do not care what will be the consequences if any accident accrues. They are free from all tension, actually thay do not take tension but gives, and the passengers just pray to God to reach home safely.

You will be surprised to know that the rishaws are common not only in Pakistan but in other countries as well in different forms. Auto rickshaws of Southeast Asia started from the knockdown production of the Daihatsu Midget which had been introduced in 1957.

In Bangladesh Auto rickshaws (locally called "baby taxis" and more recently "CNGs" due to their fuel source) are one of the most popular modes of transport in Bangladesh mainly due to their size and speed. They are best suited to narrow, crowded streets, and are thus the principal means of covering longer distances within urban areas. Another version of the auto rickshaw can be seen in rural areas of Bangladesh, where they are called "helicopters". "Helicopters" are auto rickshaws modified to have a large body with which it can carry more than six or seven passengers.
Various types of auto rickshaw are used around China, where they are called three wheeler or beep beep car.
It is also common in many parts of India (including major cities like Delhi) to see primary school children crammed into an auto-rickshaw, transporting them between home and school.
To augment speedy movement of traffic, Auto rickshaws are not allowed in the southern part of Mumbai
In Indonesia, auto rickshaws are popular in Jakarta, Medan, Java, and Sulawesi. In Jakarta, the auto rickshaws are similar to the ones in India but are colored blue and orange. Instead of these countries rikshaws are used in different forms all around the world.
